🧂 Ingredients
2 1/2 tbsp
Gram flour
hesan
1/4 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
Baking powder
Water as required Vegetable oil for frying
2 lb
Yoghurt
dahi, thick
a pinch Cumin
jeera seeds, roasted, crushed
1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder

Instructions

Mix the gram flour, salt, and Baking powder in a bowl. Whisk into a smooth
batter with a little water.

Heat the oil in a pan; pour about 2 tbsp batter, at a time, through a slotted
spoon to form small granules. These will froth in the hot oil, then rise to the
surface. Fry until crisp and golden. Remove and drain the excess oil. Repeat
till all the batter is used up.

Transfer the gram flour granules in a bowl containing warm water. When the
granules turn soft, squeeze the excess water. Keep aside.

Whisk the yoghurt with salt, cumin seeds, red chilli powder in a bowl until
smooth and creamy.

Add the gram flour granules and serve at room temperature or chilled.
