Instructions

1 In a mixing bowl or stand up mixer, cream the softened butter and sugar. Add
eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in molasses.
2 Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt and nutmeg; add to
creamed mixture.
3 Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour or until it is easy to handle.
4 Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll the dough ball into the additional sugar. Place 2
inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet.
5 Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until puffy and lightly brown.
6 Serve slightly warm and enjoy!
