Nutter Butter Snowmen

🧂 Ingredients

• 24 oz white almond bark

  (1 ½ pound package)
• 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
• 16 oz Nutter Butters

  (1 standard size package)
• 1 package mini candy eyes
• 26 pretzel sticks

  (halved)
• 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips

  (78 pieces semi-sweet mini chocolate chips)
• 26 large orange nonpareils
• 3.5 oz icing

  (one small decorator tube)

Instructions

• 1 Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or wax paper and then
  place a cooling rack on top.
• 2 Chop up the almond bark into smaller pieces and transfer it into a large
  microwave-safe bowl with 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening.
• 3 Melt the almond bark in the microwave using 30-second increments on high power,
  and stir vigorously in between each increment.
• 4 Once the almond bark is almost completely melted, take the bowl out of the
  microwave and stir until the mixture is smooth.
• 5 Dip the Nutter Butter cookies into the almond bark mixture with tongs and
  completely coat the entire cookie, then allow the excess to drip. Place each
  Nutter Butter coated snowman onto your wire cooling rack immediately and stick
  on 2 candy eyes and 1 large orange nonpareil sprinkle as the nose. Place 3 mini
  chocolate chips down the middle for buttons. Repeat this step with the rest of
  the Nutter Butters, then allow the almond bark to set.
• 6 Dip one end of the pretzel stick halves into the almond bark and stick them into
  the sides of the Nutter Butter to create the arms. Place red icing into a Ziploc
  bag or piping bag and make a small cut of a corner to pipe the red icing
  scarves.
• 7 Serve once the almond bark is dry or store them for later.
