Chewy Butterscotch Brownies

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour

  bleached flour toughens baked goods
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 3/4 cups brown sugar

  packed
• 1 cup unsalted butter

  softened (2 sticks)
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
• 11 oz. pkg. butterscotch morsels

  divided use
• 1 cup pecans

  chopped or broken

Instructions

• 1 Mix butter, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla with an electric
  mixer until smooth and creamy.
• 2 Add flour, 1 cup butterscotch chips and pecans.
• 3 Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
• 4 Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
• 5 Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
• 6 Sprinkle remaining butterscotch morsels on top.
• 7 Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out
  clean.
• 8 Cool before cutting into bars.
