M&M Funfetti Cookies

🧂 Ingredients

• 3 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour

  bleached flour toughens cookies
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup light brown sugar

  packed
• 1 cup unsalted butter

  softened
• 3 large eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
• 1 cup rainbow sprinkles

  I used jimmies
• 12.6 oz. bag milk chocolate M&Ms

  divided use, (about 1 ½ cups)

Instructions

• 1 Preheat oven to 350°.
• 2 Measure out 1 cup of M&M’s for the cookie dough.
• 3 Set aside remaining M&M’s to place on top of cookies before baking.
• 4 Spray baking sheets with cooking spray.
• 5 Cream both the sugars, butter, eggs, vanilla, salt and baking powder together
  with an electric mixer until fluffy.
• 6 Stir in flour, M&M candies, and rainbow jimmie sprinkles with wooden spoon.
• 7 Scoop dough with a ¼ cup cookie scoop and place onto sprayed baking sheets,
  about 2-3 inches apart.
• 8 Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
• 9 Rotate cookie sheets on racks every six minutes while baking.
• 10 Cool on the baking sheet for 1-2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
