No Bake Ice Cream Pie: Easy Summer Dessert

There's nothing quite like an Ice Cream Pie on a hot summer day. Just like my
grandmother used to make. A simple and classic dessert so incredibly easy… and
perfect.

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

about 18 sheets, crushed
1/2 cup butter

melted
2 pints vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate candy

roughly chopped, see "notes" for ideas
chopped pecans
whipping cream
chocolate fudge sauce drizzled over the top

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 350°. Crush the graham crackers in a food processor or
resealable plastic bag. Stir in the melted butter and press into a pie plate.
Bake until set, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
2 Allow the ice cream to soften a bit. Scoop into a bowl and with a rubber spatula
fold in pieces of chopped candy and nuts. Once mixed, pour the ice cream mixture
into the crust. Cover with foil and freeze until very hard, about 2 hours.
3 Slice the pie and garnish with chopped nuts, whipping cream, and fudge sauce.
